Tech Leadership Workshops Focus on Write Rights!

As part of the Fox Valley Writing Project, a series of Technology Leadership Workshops were held at UW Oshkosh to develop ideas and lessons in the use of technology in writing assignments. Continuing with the idea of teachers teaching teachers, we thought about software that was both available and practical for the classroom teacher. The computer programs of Inspiration, Publisher, Powerpoint, and Front Page were reviewed and considered in the development of these ideas.

Presentations of these ideas were created for our annual Writing Conference that was held in March, 2005.

As an extension of the presentation, this web site was created in support of our mission and as a resource for attendees of the Writing Conference.

It is our hope that this web site will be a continually growing resource. Teachers are encouraged to submit resources and lesson plans that will then be included in the lesson or resource pages of this site.

As this resource grows, so too will the users of this site. Please join us in expanding and implementing new ideas for teaching writing with technology.Send comments and contributions to Jeff Lucas, Fox Valley Writing Project's tech laision.
